"I had a really nice visit…"
I had a really nice visit overall. It maybe could’ve been a tiny bit quicker, but that’s not a big deal because everything felt worth it in the end. I left feeling happy with the experience

"Pretty hard to get good photos"
I went mainly hoping to take some nice photos, but it was disappointing. It felt super crowded, and a lot of the better spots were either blocked off or just too packed to really enjoy. The place itself is pretty, but if photography is your main reason for going, I’m not sure it’s worth it.

"Cute shop, a bit pricey"
The gift shop had a lot of cute stuff and the quality seemed decent, but the prices felt a little high for about what you’re getting. The staff was really nice though, which I appreciated. I ended up buying around one small item just to take something home.

I usually really appreciate a guide who keeps things relaxed but still makes the experience feel smooth, and this guide did exactly that. They were friendly, easygoing, and made everything feel comfortable without trying too hard

"Filoli was really nice to walk through..."
Filoli was really nice to walk through, and the gardens looked beautiful and well cared for. I was having a great time just wandering around. But then the restroom I used was kind of disappointing, and some of the trash bins looked way too full, which felt a little weird for a place like this. It wasn’t awful or anything, just not as clean as I expected. Still a pleasant visit overall, but yeah, the bathroom situation could definitely be better.

"Really Nice Day at Filoli"
Visited Filoli the docent made the whole place way more interesting lol. They knew so much about the house, the gardens, and the families who lived there, but it didn’t feel like some boring lecture at all. Super easy to ask questions too, which I appreciated. The grounds were gorgeous, and walking around after the tour felt really chill. Overall, a really nice day out tbh.

"Pretty gardens, but not super kid-friendly"
We took our two little kids to Filoli, and honestlyyy, it ended up being a little more stressful than I expected. The gardens are really pretty, but the whole place felt more like a quiet adult outing than a fun family day. There just wasn’t much for the kids to actually do, and I felt like we were constantly telling them not to touch things or to be quieter. Tickets weren’t cheap either, so we left feeling kinda disappointed.

"Easy Parking, Could Use Better Signs"
i had no trouble finding a spot. The lot was close enough to the entrance, which made things easy. I just wish the signs were a little clearer.

"Pretty Place, Slightly Chaotic Experience"
I went to one of the special events at Filoli, and I’ll give them this, the place looked really beautiful, and the staff were genuinely nice. But wow, the parking and crowds added that special touch of stress every relaxing day out apparently needs. The tickets also felt a bit pricey for what we actually got. Overall, it was a decent outing, but I’m not exactly clearing my calendar to go back anytime soon.

"I mostly went because I saw…"
I mostly went because I saw all the seasonal displays online and they looked really cool in the photos. But seeing it in person was kind of underwhelming. Some spots was nice, but a lot of the displays felt smaller and not as colorful as I expected. The place itself is still pretty, so I wouldn’t say it was a total waste. I just feel like the seasonal setup were hyped up way too much for what you actually get, especially for the ticket price

"Really easy self-guided visit"
I found the whole self-guided visit really straightforward and relaxed. The map was clear enough that I never felt like I was wandering around confused or trying to figure out where to go next, which made the experience much more enjoyable. It was nice being able to move at my own pace without feeling rushed, and overall it just felt like an easy, stress-free visit.

"Such a place to wander around"
The gardens were so beautiful, like there were colors everywhere and a bunch of quiet little spots to just walk around and relax. I definitely took way too many photos, but it was worth it. Really nice place to spend the day.

I had to walk way farther than I expected just to find one, which was annoying. I was ready to be mad about it... but once I finally got there, it wasn’t the end of the world.

"Nice place, just felt a little hectic"
The house itself was really pretty, and I’m glad I checked it out. That said, some of the rooms felt a bit crowded, so it was hard to really take everything in. A few of the signs were also kind of confusing, which made it feel a little more rushed than I expected.

The checkout kept glitching on me, which was really frustrating. I kept worrying I was going to lose my cart or miss out on the price I had, so I ended up reloading and trying again more than I wanted to. Annoying experience overall.

"Lovely Holiday Lights at Filoli"
We went to Filoli for the holiday lights and had such a nice time. The garden looked beautiful at night, but it wasn’t over the top or anything, just really to walk around and enjoy. Parking and getting in were easy for us, and the staff were friendly when we had about a couple questions. It was chilly, but that actually made the whole thing feel more festive. Tickets are a little pricey, but I’d still say it was worth it. I’d definitely go again next year.

"Worth it for us"
We end up going often, so the membership paid for itself faster than I expected. I can’t remember exactly how many visits it took, but it was definitely worth it for us. Love having it

I was able to find the info I needed eventually, but the menus were a little confusing. Because things weren’t laid out super clearly, it took me longer than expected to figure out where to go.
